Family & Tradition
At the age of 31, the young goldsmith Claus Hermann Spliedt purchased the house at Breiten Strasse No. 18 on October 16, 1856. Thus, the foundation for the goldsmithy in Itzehoe was laid. His official entry into office was later set for 1857.
