Comprehensive Inspection in Four Steps
Before a watch returns to the wrist, it undergoes meticulous examination: expertly qualified, technically precise, and with a trained eye for every detail.
Authenticity Verification
- Verification of serial numbers
- Inspection of all components for authenticity (movement, case, dial, crown, etc.)
- Validation using manufacturer-specific databases
Technical inspection
- Movement diagnosis (automatic, manual wind, or quartz)
- Measurement of accuracy
- Check of power reserve
- Testing and adjustment of complications (e.g., chronograph, date)
Water resistance test
- Inspection of seals at crown, crystal, and case back
- Performance of a pressure test (model-dependent)
Aesthetic Examination
- Visual inspection of case, bezel, bracelet, and clasp
- Assessment of existing wear marks and polishing condition
- Cleaning using ultrasound and gentle refinishing if needed
